XXVI Biennale des Antiquaires

 

Jewelry giants such as Van Cleef and Arples, Cartier, Chanel, Boucheron... all come together at the XXVI Biennale des Antiquaires last September in Paris. I visited the previous time the Biennale was held in 2010 and had a glimpse of the very exclusive and sometimes rare jewels on display for the occasion.

The Place Vendome jewelers always show the most exquisite and precious jewelry available. Time to indulge!

XXVe Biennale

The Grand Palais was the venue for the 25th Biennale des Antiquaires.

(Recension by me in Swedish: I Grand Palais gick den 25e Biennalen av stapeln. Jag kom in gratis eftersom jag visade upp mitt studentkort och damen i kassan sa att "design är ju också konst". Så bar det in genom metalldetektorer och hetsiga vakters blickar. Väl inne möttes besökaren av en bassäng med röda rosor. Olika gallerier från hela världen(mest från Paris förstås) omringade bassängen. Direkt framför låg salongerna med Haute Joaillerie - de jag var mest intresserad av att se. Juvelerare som Van Cleef and Arpels, Cartier och Harry Winston visade sina senaste verk av de mest fantastiska ädelstenar och ädelmetaller. Sep 2010.)
